Cimarron 1873 Short, .357 Mag/.38 Spc, 20 Blued Octagon Barrel, Rifle

The Model 1873 was first manufactured by Winchester and quickly became a favorite of both law men and outlaws in the Old West. Cimmaron brings that Old West history and nostalgia to current day with the Model 1873 Short Rifle. This rifle presents a 20" blued octagon barrel with a 1:16" rate of twist. On top of the barrel you have a 17" sight radius between the rear buck horn sight and the front post. These features provide you with quicker sight picture while maintaining accuracy. The case hardened receiver has a side feeding gate and the magazine tube holds ten rounds of .357 Mag plus an eleventh round in the chamber. This rifle has a safety feature in the lever that requires it to be held completely against the stock to pull the trigger and the twisting block secures the lever in the closed position to prevent accidental loading of the chamber.
